Creativity Labs can take many formats. Your needs drive the theme and focus, whether as a regular class, a one or two-day workshop in-house and face-to-face or a mixture of online/offline.
Creativity Labs are perfect for conferences. We advise on art methods and devise Labs individually to meet your specific challenges.
Creativity Labs are a way of giving something back to your employees as well as opening up paths to their personal development.
Being involved in creative activities can help relieve stress and inspire new perspectives which feed positively back into the workplace.
“The workshop really moved something in me! Reflecting on my relationship to work was definitely very effective...the conversation at the end was also totally inspiring, so it was worth it”
“It was really an unexpected experience. You really tapped into the creative part of our brains and managed to pull lots of ideas in such a short period of time. The task at the beginning difficult for me since it required to think outside of the usual patterns. Seeing the results showed how many different ideas we were able to generate as a team within such a short period of time. Again, I highly enjoyed it.”
“The entire program was wonderful. Freedom in design > different tools. The possibility to work with different materials and your positive, supportive attitude towards everyone.”
“The simplicity. Everything. Lightness. Inspiring. The connection between creativity/art and philosophy.”
“I loved the multifaceted approach, the variety of activities and the plenty of different materials as well as the joint creation of a mosaic picture and the overall creativity. Cherishing atmosphere.”
“The constructive workshop structure. From the charcoal (primal origin) to the words and texts, from each individual perception to the ‘we’.”
“Common ground. Team. A surprisingly intensive and impressive process. Time. Very exciting > group dynamic but also individual!”
“It was fun. The tasks were well structured. Coherently connected > I could try out a lot. Great structure, that led deeper and deeper into the topic. I was able to experience a process, to get a little more out of my head. I felt that I was allowing myself to paint more and more freely.”
“The collage workshop was very inspiring! My friend and I went home full of enthusiasm and immediately put what we had learned into practice: we now paint and draw regularly. I would say: Mission accomplished!”
“I enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the selected topic with colleagues from other departments and locations. The discussion in my group was very constructive. I found it very enriching.”
Hi, I’m Penelope Richardson, a visual artist from Australia specialised in communication and cultural development. I’m also the founder of Fun Life Art. I have a passion for working with people and bringing art-making into unexpected contexts.
My purpose is to bring people, art and business together in a creative dialogue to support personal development, team-building, change, and dialogue. The valuable experience of participating in a creative activity can inspire a change of perspective and innovative approaches.
I create tailor-made art-based workshops called Creativity Labs for companies and institutions. I also teach painting, printmaking, art collaboration, drawing, book design and video. Throughout my career, I’ve always made art. If you’re interested take a look at my artist website.
I aspire to share my creative impulse with people by providing inspiring and fun art experiences. As an artist, there is nothing I enjoy more than taking individuals and groups on a creative journey. I love it when my work sparks excitement, triggers motivation and provokes a creative approach.
