This is an artist book design workshop to learn how to think about and create an artist book from a conceptual perspective. You will make your own book. During this workshop, students will learn how to think about and create an artist book from a conceptual perspective. The workshop will start with a brief exploration of what an artist book is, followed by a demonstration of a simple accordion bookbinding structure and the technique of monoprints on plexiglass (a form of printmaking that produces a unique print). Students will be able to create their own artist book using their hands, drawing, collage and monoprints by the end of the workshop. No prerequisites needed.

This workshop is aimed at anyone wanting to improve your observational and technical drawing skills by activating the right side of the brain whilst learning how to draw. Based on ideas in Betty Edwards’ book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", you will discover drawing techniques which trick the brain into seeing better. These techniques can help improve realistic drawing skills, the drawing of faces, as well as one’s understanding of perspective. Even beginners can use this method to achieve surprising results. This workshop is great for companies wanting to offer a weekly creative development incentive to their workers. A two hour class every week for 6 to 8 weeks. Suitable for every level. Enquire now!

Make your own comic or magazine. Explore and create a publication with your friends, team or club while learning about Risograph printing. I offer creative Risograph workshops to create and design for the Riso technique and be inspired! Riso is like lithography, screen printing or woodblock printing, but faster. Individual colour layers are designed and created separately. Riso speeds up the creative process. The colours I work with are blue, green pink and black. These workshops can be done in a group of up to 6 people in the Munich studio.
